Head Coach // 17 Elite

Coach Shelly Bart is starting her 9th season with Ultimate Performance Volleyball Club. Shelly began coaching volleyball at Tulsa Webster in 1996 for 3 seasons. She then took time off in 2000 to have her daughter, Kendall Bart, who will be assisting on the 17 Elite team.  Bart then took a job at Whitney Middle school and began coaching volleyball again from 2001-2003.

In 2003 Coach Bart decided to take players to a high school team camp  run by Peggy McCaw, Missy’s mom.  Peggy recommended  her for the Sapulpa High School Varsity coaching position. Shelly coached at Sapulpa High school from 2003-2012. Coach Bart was named All-State coach in 2008 as well as Region 2 coach of the year. During her time at Sapulpa, she helped direct and coach club volleyball for Sapulpa athletes for about 5 years. Coach Bart also coached at Team Tulsa Volleyball Club from 2009-2012. In 2013, Coach Bart transferred to Jenks Middle School to teach middle school PE and coached 8th grade volleyball at Jenks Middle School in 2014 and continued until 2022. Shelly is known as “everyone’s favorite coach!”
