Assistant Coach // HS Boys + MS Boys

Codi started playing volleyball when she was 10 years old in her hometown of Houston, TX. Out of her 8 years of competitive club playing for Woodlands Wave (now TAV Houston), Houston Skyline, and Willowbrook, she qualified for Junior Nationals 7 times in the American, National, and Open divisions, and earned two bronze medals. She also earned a top-5 finish at AAU Nationals, as well as recognized as one of the “Best Volleyball Athletes in the AAU” archives.

Codi attended The Woodlands High School where she was named Defensive MVP, 2nd team All-district, Academic All-District, and Vype Magazine Player of the Month. She is a back-to-back Texas State High School Champion in 5A (2013) and 6A (2014). Additionally, in 2013 her team accomplished a perfect 45-0 season and were named MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Champions. Codi played collegiately at the University of Miami, while punching a ticket to the 2015 NCAA tournament. During her time at Miami, Codi was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. After medically retiring, Codi transferred to the University of Oklahoma, playing for the OU Women’s Club Volleyball team, and earning her bachelor’s degree.

Codi has 6 years of coaching experience and is entering her 3rd year with UPVBC. She was the former head coach at Booker T. Washington high school (2020-2021), helping lead the team to a regional finals’ appearance. Codi has also helped two UPVBC teams qualify for the Girl’s Junior National championship tournament and is currently the boys’ varsity assistant at Jenks High School.
